Backlight does magic, and here it’s evident. More than 30 years ago one photo book declared that backlight would be the most rewarding but also most difficult lighting situation. Pre-digital and on a shoestring budget for film I rarely dared to try it, but up to now quite a number of keepers result from following this advice.
Derek, glad you like it. Markus, back lighting isn’t that hard to manage as long as you don’t let your meter get confused. The M6′s semi spot meter is a little easier to use in this respect than a center weighted meter.
