Having followed your blog for a number of years now, I know that these almost certainly have to be B&W, but my first reaction was “Matt’s posted a colour image”! It has to be the subject matter; give our brain something it expects (i.e. grey tarmac) and it immediately jumps to an assumption – if you know what I mean.
